He has also led financial strategies and commercial portfolios at Whittington Health NHS Trust, Barts Health NHS Trust, and The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Professor Tim Orchard, group chief executive, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Stephen to the North West London Acute Provider Group. His extensive experience across the NHS will be invaluable as we look to make better use of our combined resources and expertise to help us improve health and care for patients and local communities.”

Speaking of his appointment, Stephen said: “I am delighted to be joining a clinically excellent group of Trusts at this exciting time, and to have the opportunity to continue working towards a sustainable health system in north west London.”
